1. Tell us about your company culture.
We are a small, very flexible engineering firm. We design and provide construction administration services for projects ranging from a small bathroom addition to a $58 million VA clinic.

As a small firm, clients deal directly with the managing partner George Wandover on every project. He is directly involved in all projects as well as the management of the firm.

We primarily design HVAC, plumbing/piping and electrical systems for buildings of all types. However, Mr. Wandover spent the first 10 years of his career as a civil engineer much of it here in Northwest Ohio. Some of these projects included work for local governments, private developers and industrial projects.

We specialize in mechanical, plumbing and electrical design for tenant build-out type projects and medical projects such as doctors offices, clinics and hospitals.

2. Tell us about organizations/charities that you are passionate about.
We are very involved in veterans organizations and charities. Our managing partner George Wandover is an Army veteran with some of his time in the Ohio National Guard. We are fighting a global war on terrorism and many of the vets of that war have PTSD and other traumatic injuries that require specialized care.

We work with and contribute to two charities that are making a difference today- the Gary Sinise Foundation that provides smart hours for combat wounded veterans and the K9s for Warriors that provides service dogs for veterans with PTSD and traumatic brain injuries.

Over 20 vets commit suicide a day. We are losing our best and it has to stop.

3. What 3 business tips can you share with others?
  •   Be responsive to your clients. The client may not always be right but they know what they want.
  • Once you commit to a deadline, meet it even if you have to work late or weekends
  • Pay your bills promptly.
